                                           2004 RATES
    All prices include instruction, one detailed trip map, and shuttle to and from the trip of your choice.  Canoe rental includes two
paddles and two life jackets for one or two people. Kayak rental includes one paddle and one life jacket for one person.  A 5%
discount is offered for cash payments.  A third person or dog is $31.60 extra ($30.00 cash or check).  Under no circumstance will
four people be put in one canoe.  Rates cover rental of all gear for the entire day.
    A group discount of 10% is offered for rentals of eight or more boats. The entire fee, plus tax, must be paid when the reservation
is made to receive this discount. Cancellations must be made at least two full weeks prior to your trip date to receive a refund.
If cancellations that are made two weeks in advance drop the number of boats reserved to under eight, the group discount will be
lost and the full price will be charged for those remaining. Since there will be no refunds for cancellations made under two weeks,
the discount price will still be in effect for those remaining, even if the number then drops under eight.
    If fewer than eight boats are being reserved or the group discount is not sought, a deposit of $29.00 per boat is required with
the reservation. This is refundable with only one week's notice of cancellation.

   Canoe fees are for one boat for one or two people; kayak fees, one boat, one person. 5% off for cash or check payment
                                     All prices subject to 4.5% sales and use tax unless a Sales Tax Exempt form is supplied.

OVERNIGHT TRIPS
  Two or more days on the James River. We recommend 22 miles in summer low water, 30 miles in spring high water. Camping is
primitive (no facilities, take everything you need and bring it all back) and only in National Forest or on designated private property
for a fee ($3.00 person). Price includes one extra canoe paddle and all appropriate maps.  One or two people per canoe, no pets,
and 125 lbs./12 cu. of gear. There is no room for gear in a kayak, so all gear (up to the limit) must go in an accompanying canoe.
